A High-Performance Cache Based on Bloom Filter for Transactional Memory

  • Inmultiprocessors based on hardware transactional memory, cache is the crucial functional unit and it is used to address following functions: storing speculative results of transactions, detecting conflicts between transactions and resolving the conflicts. To simplify these functions, a high-performance cache based on bloom filter is proposed in this paper, which improves the efficiency of transactions with lower hardware cost.
