Highway Management Information System Based on Internet of Things

  • The paper proposed a new Chongqing highway operation management information system services platform architecture, which is based on the comprehensive sensing of the traffic roads, vehicles and incident status information and the support of internet of things technology, including cloud access, cloud processing, cloud management and system integration capabilities. The proposed architecture has three layers:traffic information sensing layer, information access and management layer of cloud architecture and the application layer of traffic management and service. Also the paper defined each layer's organization structure and application function. The proposed system architecture solution will provide a technology support that can achieve resource sharing and information exchange of the information of traffic operation status and business management, and improve daily management efficiency and emergency command capability.
