An Approach for Test Case Reuse Achieved Based on Test Item Extraction

There's a higher relevance between test case and test module in the process of test case reusing.Focusing on this point, this paper puts forward a method, in which the test items is extracted to generate a test-item suite, then retrieve the test-item suite to achieve reusing of test cases during the new testing work.In addition, the using of XML makes it easy to manage test cases.The application of the method reduces the relevance of test cases and test modules and improves the efficiency of testing.
