Design of high speed SpaceFibre router system

  • In order to meet the high-speed transmission requirements of spatial diversified data, the characteristics of the SpaceFibre high-speed bus networks were studied. Aiming at the data forwarding conflicts in the routing network, a SpaceFibre routing system design was proposed. The configuration port realized the real-time configuration of network parameters and the real-time feedback of the status. The QoS scheduling based on the virtual channel mechanism was realized by the routing port, which provided different services for different data sources. The full connection structure was used in the routing switch module to realize the interconnection between virtual networks. Furthermore, a dynamic arbitration algorithm based on priority waiting was proposed to address the data exchange conflicts in the virtual network, which considered priority and waiting time to provide a guarantee for data transmissions. In the routing broadcast module, the polling arbitration algorithm was used to solve the broadcasting conflicts. Finally, a simulation test platform was built to test the router. And experimental results showed that the proposed SpaceFibre router could handle data forwarding conflicts and provide QoS data transmission services, with a bandwidth of up to 3.125 Gbps per interface.
