A Low Noise Readout Circuit for Astronomical Telescope

  • 摘要: 设计了一种用于天文望远镜的低噪声电荷耦合器件(Charge Coupled Devices,CCD)读出电路.该读出电路主要包括电容增益电路、单端转差分电路、双斜率积分电路以及缓冲器电路.CCD读出电路采用SMIC 0.18 μm 1P6M CMOS工艺实现.后仿真结果表明,在电源电压3.3 V,输入信号67 kHz,输出信号80 mV峰值时,输出信号动态范围86 dB,等效输入噪声2.523 nV/√Hz,整体功耗1.25 mW.

     

    Abstract: In this paper a low noise Readout circuit for astronomical telescope is presented, which consists of capacitor-gain circuit, single-to-differential circuit, dual-slope integrator and buffer. The readout circuit is implemented in SMIC 0.18 m 1P6M CMOS process. The post-simulation results show that in 3.3 V power supply, 67 kHz input frequency and 80 mV output, the Dynamic Range (DR) is 86 dB, equal input noise is 2.523 nV/√Hz, total power is 1.25 mW.
