A Signal to Noise Ratio Simulation Algorithm Applied to GPS Software Signal Source

  • 摘要: 为了解决GPS中频导航信号的信噪比模拟问题, 根据导航信号的特性, 通过对信噪比公式中信号功率和噪声功率计算式的修正, 使得参与信噪比计算的信号功率和噪声功率更为接近真实情况, 得到更为准确的信噪比值.最后通过软件接收机输出载噪比值与模拟器预设值进行对比, 实验测试结果表明: 对于单通道, 在36.1~50.1 dBHz载噪比区间, 信噪比模拟精度能够达到0.1 dB; 对于多通道, 在36.1~48.1 dBHz载噪比区间, 信噪比模拟精度约为0.23 dB.总体来说, 修正的信噪比估算方法模拟的信噪比精度比原有方法更高, 可广泛的用于测试软件接收机性能.

     

    Abstract: In order to solve the problem of signal to noise ratio simulation of GPS intermediate frequency navigation signal, according to the characteristic of the navigation signal, the calculation of signal power and noise power are modified in the signal to noise ratio formula. The signal power and noise power of the signal to noise ratio formula is more close to the real situation, so it can get more accurate signal to noise ratio. Finally, the comparison between the output result of the software receiver and the default value of signal source is made. The simulation results show that the signal to noise ratio accuracy can reach 0.1dB within the range of 36.1dBHz-50.1dBHz for single channel and the signal to noise ratio simulation accuracy is about 0.23dB within the range of 36.1dBHz-48.1dBHz for multichannel. Overall speaking, the new method can be widely used to test the performance of software receiver because the signal to noise ratio simulation method is more accurate than original method.
