Abstract:
A novel methodology for frequency estimation of a single complex sinusoid in complexadditive white Gaussian noise is proposed in this paper.Firstly,the sampled data is divided into M segments and each segment has K data points, then,taking the average ltering for each segment,finally,we utilize different methods to estimate the frequency of received signal,which is similar to the Kay's estimator.Consequently,the results of simulation indicated that the proposed method has lower computational complexity and lower SNR threshold that is 6-20log(K)dB.
