A Proactive Multi-Tree Routing Protocol in Wireless Mesh Networks and NS-3 Simulation

  • 摘要: 针对无线Mesh网络, 提出一种支持多路径路由的先验式多树路由协议(Proactive Multi-Tree Routing Protocol, PMTRP).通过建立先验式多树及比较积累传播时链路度量(Accumulated Airtime Link Metric, AALM), 来实现在数据传输过程中的路由选择.在NS-3网络仿真环境下实现PMTRP路由协议, 将其与IEEE 802.11s协议中缺省路由协议HWMP进行对比, 证明PMTRP路由协议拥有更好的网络性能.

     

    Abstract: In view of wireless mess networks, rate, a new routing protocol of PMTRP (Proactive Multi-Tree Routing Protocol) that supports multi-path routing is proposed in this paper. By setting up proactive multi-tree and comparing AALM (Accumulated Airtime Link Metric), it does route selection in the process of data transmission. By implementing the PMTRP routing protocol on NS-3 network simulator, the comparing between PMTRP routing protocol and the default HWMP routing protocol in IEEE 802.11s proves that PMTRP has better network performance.
