An Implementation of CCN Prototype System in the Internet Based on POF

  • 摘要: 由于缺乏底层设备的支持, 内容中心网络(CCN)难以应用于真实网络环境, 基于协议无感知转发(POF)技术实现内容节点和内容路由器, 并构成CCN网络.系统设计了HTTP-CCN网关, 并分为入口网关与出口网关, 入口网关接入用户, 出口网关接入互联网, 实现了针对互联网视频的访问、缓存与点播.实验表明利用CCN缓存可有效减少网络时延.

     

    Abstract: Due to the lack of support of the underlying equipment, content centric network (CCN) is difficult to be applied to the real network environment. This paper realize content nodes and routers based on Protocol Oblivious Forwarding Technology (POF), and constitute a CCN network. Through the HTTP-CCN gateway a user can access to the system and through CCN-HTTP gateway the CCN can access to the Internet. The system realizes the access, cache and play of videos on the Internet. The experiments show that cache in CCN can effectively reduce the network delay and network traffic.
