Integrated Implementation and Test of Ethernet MAC on SOC

  • 摘要: 在片上系统(SOC)中集成了以太网介质访问控制器(MAC), 介绍了MAC的组成和结构, 片上系统的组成和结构, 以及二者的集成方法.通过开发的驱动软件对MAC进行了详细的测试验证, 测试结果表明, 实现了10 Mbps和100 Mbps两种传输速率, 半双工和全双工两种工作模式, 并实现了通过介质无关接口(MII)与以太网物理(PHY)芯片相连接.

     

    Abstract: This paper introduces the method of integrating a MAC on SOC, which first introduce the MAC architecture and components then gives the SOC architecture and components. Testing and verification steps of the MAC by the MAC driver is given. The test results show that the system supports two transmission rate of 10Mbps and 100Mbps, two working modes of half duplex and full duplex, and successfully connected with the Ethernet physical (PHY) chip through a media independent interface (MII).
