UM-BUS modeling and key parameters determination based on network calculus

  • 摘要: 嵌入式系统在使用UM-BUS总线时,总线仲裁时隙大小、协议包大小等关键参数对总线性能有很大的影响;必须通过数学模型建立与仿真分析等手段确定总线关键参数,确保总线传输时延满足系统的实时性需求.本文针对UM-BUS总线的实时性进行了建模和分析,利用网络演算理论建立了总线系统数据服务模型,得出了数据传输时延上界的解析结果表达式.给出了一个典型的无人艇控制系统实例,确定了最优的关键参数设置.通过仿真分析结果与实验统计结果的对比,验证了模型的准确性.

     

    Abstract: When UM-BUS is used in embedded system, the BUS arbitration time slot size, protocol packet size and other key parameters have a great impact on the performance of the BUS. The key parameters of the BUS must be determined by means of mathematical model establishment and simulation analysis to ensure that the transmission delay of the BUS can meet the real-time requirements of the system. In this paper, the real-time performance of UM-BUS is modeled and analyzed, the data service model of the BUS system is established by using the network calculus theory, and the analytical result expression of the upper bound of the data transmission delay is obtained. A typical example of unmanned vehicle control system is given, and the optimal key parameter Settings are determined. The accuracy of the model is verified by comparing the simulation results with the experimental statistical results.
